Google is pretty good at understanding the general context of a site’s content. In Google search results, you only have space for 70 characters in your title. If your title is longer than that, it gets truncated (meaning the end will be “….”). (Previous estimates put this number at 50 to 60 characters, but Google recently expanded the width of the search results, and therefore can show slightly longer titles.) What used to be a handful of on-page, off-page, and architecture factors has evolved into hundreds of signaling attributes fed through a complex algorithm that is constantly being refined and learning from your behavior. Use basic math to narrow down your search results
If you are putting content on your own site, try to keep things fairly uniform. This can help you start building your own following and establish your own voice. Of course, that shouldn’t stop you from doing something that has more of a “shock factor.” Something a little more controversial can draw in big crowds, which translates to a lot of clicks and comments. To best understand your backlink profile, it makes sense to look at a few top level KPI’s such as the referring domains and IP’s, the country from where the backlink is coming from, and the Top-Level-Domain. Maintaining a marketing strategy that complements your SEO is key in 2017, if you have a great product, get it out there and get it seen by potential customers. There has been debate on how much of your yearly budget you should be spending on marketing and the answer is completely dependent on the company. Social signals - how many times a piece of content is shared, tweeted and liked - have become a crucial part of the way search engines decide which content is the most useful and should be ranked higher.
Analyze your current website
Keyword stuffing occurs when too many variations of the same phrase are shoehorned to fit into important ranking factors, such as URLs, meta titles and descriptions, image alt text and body copy. This practice can significantly impair the user experience as the website is sculpted solely for search engines and not real people. Machines are writing stories and that is often something Google is not a fan of. It doesn’t matter how big or small your company’s marketing budget is. If it’s been just a day or two since you made your website and are not appearing on the SERPs, then you might consider submitting your URL to Google (If you haven’t already done).

So how do you come up with a list of keywords you can use?
Keywords are still a factor in content, but with the Hummingbird update in 2013, the way they are used, viewed, and searched has changed dramatically. If your website is trying to rank quickly for a specific topic, and yet there is not a piece of high-value content that addresses that topic, the probability of showing up in the Google search results is small. Try to ask questions in the headers of your copy. Because more and more people are typing in whole questions when using search engines, these websites are going to be looking for content with those same questions – and the assumed answers within.
