Your analytic tools can be used to find the keywords people search for that lead them to your website. The majority of these will be the shorter keywords but you can also find long tail keywords as well. These long tail keywords will likely be relevant to your website in some way or at least an area of it but probably won’t actually be keywords you’ve actually targeted. You need to utilise all aspects of digital marketing to form a full SEO strategy. This will put your business on the map and really increase those website hits. It’s not just about creating quality content, but also about knowing your audience, to the extent that the content is useful and has more chances to be ranked higher in the search results for the relevant queries. Content marketing is really a component of SEO, and SEO is a component of content marketing – it's really a chicken and the egg situation.
A good website brings boatloads of money into your bank account
Most SEO firms will tell claim it takes 4 to 6 months to start seeing results. It varies wildly but that’s generally in the ballpark for most projects. Note that SEO results are cumulative & escalate over time. If you’re getting positive results after 6 months these will compound after 12 months & re-compound thereafter. The most profitable relationships I’ve entered into with businesses have lasted for over 5 years during which time their fortunes have literally exploded. Inbound links can come from your own website (linking from one page to another) or other web properties you control. Make sure that your website’s main menu only features the most important categories. If you’re not able to rank on the first page, try to write another article, focused on a (even) more long tail keyword. Make it a little bit more specific, more niche. And see how that goes.
What do you understand by On page optimization?
SEO measures can take some time and effort. But what is the point in investing time and effort if you cannot see the fruits of your labor? Luckily, there are numerous metrics that you can check on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis in order to keep your SEO plan on track and to measure your success. Both Google and Bing take page-loading speed into account in their website ranking algorithm. People really love to check their search rankings. Many companies want to use this as a measurement of SEO progress over time, but it is a bit problematic, for a variety of reasons. Google is better at working out what a page is about, and what it should be about to satisfy the intent of a searcher.
Good Content Will Still Need ‘Optimised
Cloaking refers to an attempt to boost search result rankings by serving different content to Googlebot than to regular users. This causes problems such as less relevant results (pages appear in search results even though their
content is actually unrelated to what users see/want), so Google takes cloaking very seriously. First and foremost, the content on your website must be well-written, free of grammatical errors, and 100% unique and original. Content must read smoothly and give visitors the information they are searching for. There are many subtle nuances to the mechanics of semantic search, but ultimately what it means for you is that an authoritative page that dives into one specific topic in-depth will usually rank better than dozens of pages built around different keywords. According to Gaz Hall, a UK SEO Consultant : "NAP stands for Name, Address and Phone Number. NAP is critical for businesses wanting to rank highly in local search results. Google cross-references your contact information across your own website, and local online directories in order to validate your company. Inconsistent information can be the reason your SEO is failing. Let’s face it, a website that can’t get its contact details right is more than likely not worth a visit. Hence, Google ranks these websites lower. You have to get your digital footprint right before you do anything else."
Get into Local Directories/Local Resource Lists/Review Sites
Sometimes you just can’t target a specific keyword on a product or service page of your website – it just won’t fit and look natural. In these instances you can always take advantage of having a blog. Do a quick Google search for that keyword and check what other pages rank. Build a list of other niche blogs in your field. Start commenting on their blogs
with insightful comments, and then reach out to them and ask if you can write
one guest post for them. If they accept, write NEW content for their blog (don’t
just copy and paste something already existing on your blog). Remember to
include a couple links within your post linking back to your site, using anchor
text with your relevant keywords. You should search your favourite search engines for search terms such as:
“add url”, “suggest website” and add your website to these sites. All of this constitutes to link building for your website. Before designing a website, or even if your site is already designed, you should analyze the site’s structure. Each topic or area should have its own distinct section and flow logically so users don’t get lost, disoriented and frustrated. You need to analyze how your website is being viewed.
