I suppose that’s why they say the best place to hide a dead body is on page two of Google.

The meta keywords tag is not a ranking consideration

Websites that receive many inbound links can be more likely to rank higher in search engines. Basically, inbound links tell site crawlers that your website is an authority on a certain subject -- so the more inbound links you have from high quality, high authority sites, the better your website can rank in search engine results pages (SERPs). Prove that you are trustworthy by connecting as closely as possible to high authority sites. Use structured data to further explain your topics. Be aware of the keywords that people search (or would search) to find your business online. Be sure to use those keywords in posts and your social media bios to increase SEO. Check to see if the domain is indexed by putting “site:example.com” in the Google search bar. If it is, that’s a good sign, but if it isn’t, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the domain was de-indexed due to a penalty. It might just have been out of commission for awhile, so Google felt it was not necessary to keep the site in its index.

For sites with lots of high-quality product, inspirational or instructional images, Pinterest can be a major driver of traffic - especially given that every Pin and Repin of your image includes a link back to your site.

The Value of a Keyword

To maintain a healthy website, do an overall audit of your underperforming blog content or articles to determine what to keep, what to make more robust, and what to remove. Google very quickly recognizes if a backlink matches the target page subject. Therefore, backlink content should always relate to the landing page. Duplicate content is content that appears in more than one place online. When there are multiple pieces of identical content, it's difficult for search engines to decide which version is more relevant to a given search query. Gaz Hall, from SEO Hull, had the following to say: "The days of stuffing keywords into bad content and having it rank are long gone. Now your content needs to focus on your target persona and your keywords need to flow within the content."
