You already know that a considerable amount of Internet traffic these days comes from mobile operating systems. An organic search strategy that involves a dedicated consumer focused approach is highly recommended. This entails total brand presence and not just keywords, understanding customer behavior, consumption preferences, needs and conversion paths. SEO isn’t magic or voodoo. I know some SEO consultants will make you believe they possess magical powers and only they can optimize your website, but don’t listen to them.
The more you focus on Google and doing the right thing for website visitors,
the more you’ll win at SEO.
Don't go overboard at the risk of being penalized for stuffing
Google clearly states that buying backlinks to improve your rankings breaches their guidelines. Good ways to boost
readability include breaking up sub-topics within your content, using images and videos to help explain difficult concepts, and visually highlighting one or two quotable sound bites that illustrate key points. A comprehensive keyword research enables you to discover which words work in your line of field and attract the most attention. It also provides you with opportunities to create new content or improvise your previous posts by including relevant keywords. A major consideration when creating internal backlinks is how you link different assets together.
Overlapping and redundant articles
Review your h1 tags across your site, using a crawler to find them all if required. Do they all describe the page accurately? Do they use the keyword target? And do they match the title tag in what they say the page is about? Search analytics is a
new and emerging category of tools. Search analytics tools specifically monitor how your website interacts with the search engines. In order to write the best article about a specific subject, do your research and check what articles are already ranking high in Google, for your keywords. The reason you want natural, helpful, informative links is that you don’t want to have to constantly replace links ignored by the search engines and you don’t want to suffer from penalties and downgrades. Link acquisition should happen without anxiety.
Make sure your site is optimized for mobile
Google may penalize specific tactics, but they will never penalize quality. The content on your site should be organized in a logical way. This is not only good for SEO, it also helps visitors on your site find other related content easily. A search result with a high CTR can often be given a boost
by Google because it’s seen as attractive and relevant. You
can increase your CTR by giving your page a custom meta
description. This can be done from the page’s HTML or if
you’re using WordPress, you could use a plugin like Yoast
SEO to do this. We asked an SEO Specialist
, Gaz Hall, for his thoughts on the matter: "Browser caching is about how a browser remembers / stores your website for faster visiting the next time you come to that website."
“Monetisation first” approach
You want your company’s name to be one of the first results that they see. Gone are the days
of keyword stuffing. Sentences actually need to make sense now. Optimise your website by ensuring that any published content is easy to read and digest. Natural keyword inclusion is acceptable, but make the readers your first priority, not the keywords. The more people who read your blog post, the more authority Google will deem it to have. And the more authority a page has, the higher it is likely to rank. So – get your post out there! Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram – whatever social media channels you use, share it on them. Having a few 404 errors will not ruin your rankings completely, but they can lower your user experience, which ultimately can affect your SEO performance.
